National Senior Independence Month is a celebration of all the ways seniors can enjoy their independence. It’s also a great opportunity to learn more about new ways that you can empower them to maintain that independence over their twilight years.
Some seniors can be resistant to accepting any kind of care. But sometimes, it’s a genuine need. Care may depend on mobility issues, cognitive impairment, or just extra help around the house.
Home care services allow seniors to stay in their own home, in control of the familiar surroundings. They can often receive care from someone they already know and trust, such as a family member. This can make that getting the support they need that much easier.
