On July 1. 2022, the MN Department of Human Services raised the minimum wage of PCAs to $15.25. That means you legally have to be paid that amount or higher for every hour of work you do.
Some home care agencies may provide different family caregiver pay rates for PCA Choice and Traditional PCA workers; however, Best Care does not differentiate between PCA Choice and Traditional PCA in how we treat and staff our caregivers.
As a result, every employee will receive the same hourly pay rate and benefits, regardless of whether they are PCA Choice or Traditional caregivers.
